Huntingburg Man Dies In Crash HUNTINBURG, IN - A Huntingburg man is killed in a crash involving a semi-tractor trailer this Friday afternoon.
Horses Rescued, Now Recovering VAND. CO., IN - More than a dozen horses are now in a veterinarian's care. This after their owner is charged with animal cruelty. We have the latest on what will happen to these horses once they are back in good health.
City Council To Vote On Changes to Smoking Ordinance EVANSVILLE - Evansville's City Council will soon be deciding whether to move forward with more changes to the city's smoking ordinance. Bars and restaurants are exempt from the current ordinance passed in 2006, but the new rules could change that.
Returning to Webster Co. Dog Pound, One Day after Animal Cruelty Charges WEBSTER CO., KY - One day after NEWS 25 broke the story, we decided to head back to Webster County, to question the Judge Executive about the dog pound. Thursday, Kentucky State Police charged John Dunn, the county's dog warden, with animal cruelty. A day later, the Judge Executive told us it's all a mistake.

Proposed Management Agreement Could Save Evansville $300,000 EVANSVILLE - The City of Evansville has announced it has plans to take over management of Roberts Stadium, The Victory Theater, Mesker Amphitheater and the C.K. Newsome Center next month. City officials said the move could save taxpayers over $300,000 annually.
Body of Missing Owensboro Woman Found in Creek DAVIESS CO., KY - Daviess County Coroner Bob Howe told us preliminary autopsy results show Schartung died from drowning, and there were no signs of foul play. The Sheriff's Office said Schartung's body was found Wednesday night in a creek near Grandview Road.
Leaders Prepare for Caucus to Fill Knight Township Trustee Seat VANDERBURGH CO., IN - Vanderburgh County Democratic Party Chairman Mark Owen told us a caucus will be held to fill the vacant Knight Township Trustee spot. He said the caucus must be held within 30 days, but he hopes to fill the position in two weeks.
Haubstadt Town Marshal Arrested, Released on Bond HAUBSTADT, IN - ISP said Marshal Micah Rulli turned himself in at the Gibson County Jail around 12:30 a.m. Friday. They said he was later released after posting a $2,500 cash bond. Investigators accuse Rulli of turning in unauthorized time cards and taking money that had been seized as evidence.
Evansville Man Arrested on Meth Charges in Pike County PIKE CO, IN - Indiana State Police said Anthony B. Ulm, 33, of Evansville, was arrested Thursday evening in connection with a meth lab found near the Pike and Gibson County line.
