Travis Tornatore

Travis is an Evansville native and a 2003 Reitz High School graduate. He is also a 2007 graduate from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism. Most of his experience comes from newspaper journalism. He worked for The Mirror at Reitz from 2001-2003, where he served as Editor in Chief in his last year there.

In college he contributed several articles to The Shield, but found that his true calling was in radio. He worked for 820: The Edge where he hosted a morning show and was also Program Director for the station. Travis came as an intern to Regent in 2006 and became more interested in making radio a career. Currently he serves as a news reporter for Newstalk 1280, and also has a weekly shift on 103GBF. His interests include music, writing, and politics.
